We deliberately do not use pure alcohol as a solvent, since high ethanol concentrations can decarboxylate ibotenic acid more quickly, which shifts the active-compound ratio. A 30 ml bottle contains around 600 drops — each drop corresponds to a small, reproducible amount of active compound.
